FLEXiCODE Switzerland AG successfully migrates Sunparadise to IFS Cloud

Another successful digitalization project: Sunparadise, one of the leading providers of custom glazing solutions, successfully migrated to IFS CloudTM on February 24, 2025. The upgrade from IFS Applications 9 to the modern cloud platform was completed in just 14 months in collaboration with FLEXiCODE Switzerland AG, a leading IFS partner in the DACH region.

With 17 international locations, including Liechtenstein, Germany, Turkey and Sweden, the upgrade was a significant step towards standardizing and digitalizing business processes.
The project began in January 2024 and included not only the cloud migration but also the transition to FLEXiCODE Switzerland AG’s Managed Service. Through the upgrade, Sunparadise was able to reduce customizations and interfaces by 25% and streamline its IT landscape.

Since the introduction of IFS Applications 9 in 2016, Sunparadise’s requirements have changed significantly. With the migration to IFS CloudTM, the company is paving the way for a modern and expandable ERP platform. The new solution offers an optimized user experience with intuitive IFS clients, improved content presentation and clear lobbies. Through automation and standardization, numerous processes have been significantly simplified and optimized. With an eye on the future, the implementation was designed to be sustainable and scalable to ensure the planned integration of the Poland location.

Smooth Go-Live despite technical complexity
A central technical challenge was the conversion of the webshop interface to the latest REST technology. Nevertheless, the go-live was realized on schedule and smoothly.
